Version 160 TM12
The printing group consists of 12 Epson Type-M heads which permit achieving printing speeds and quality superior to those of the best known traditional printing systems.
The use of these new heads (the specifications of which are described in the dedicated section), permit to triplicate the already high printing speed of the first version of Monna Lisa® , even at high resolutions.
Thanks to the control software, the printer can also use just one group of 8 of the 12 heads.
This could be useful in case of any faults on one 4-head group, avoiding machine down times.
The printer can be used with 4 colours (double 4-colour) or 8 basic colours.
With the model 160 TM12, a useful print of 160 cm. can be obtained on a belt with width 170 cm.
The belt with permanent adhesive is identical to those used on traditional printing machines and ensures perfect adherence of fabrics, an essential feature for achieving top quality.
Like all versions of Monna Lisa® with print width 160 and 180 cm., the printer is supplied complete with standard fabric feeder and wind-up devices.
The fabric feeder system comprises the device for fabric aligning by means of photocells and the cylinder for laying the fabric on the belt with pneumatic pressure adjustment.
The standard fabric feeder device is fitted directly onto the structure of the printer so that, while always allowing the loading of fabric rolls with diameters up to 300 mm., overall dimensions are considerably reduced.
Alternatively, a fabric feeder machine can be connected to the printer with dandy roll tensioning, widening shaft or other optional feeding devices.
The fabric wind-up group can be considered as an accessory machine.
The appliance is in fact a mechanical structure separated from the printer, made up of several interacting devices:
fabric drying unit, system for detaching the fabric from the printer belt, fabric wind-up device, device for winding-up any supplementary supports.
All the Monna Lisa® models can be fitted, on request, to be connected to other fabric feeder or wind-up systems.
