The program that controls Monna Lisa has been designed to combine outstanding performance with extreme versatility and ease of use.
The operator is able to control and manage printing using a dedicated user interface that displays the situation of the various machine functions on the monitor in real time.
The program can be considered split into three parts:

• printing setting and control
• color management and control
• maintenance

The part relating to setting, besides providing all the data tied to the designs to be printed, allows the operator to select or change the various printing parameters.
Some of these parameters can be set at origin directly on the CAD station on which the design is processed, and in this case they are displayed directly when the file is loaded.
The printer operator can in any case change or select all the free printing parameters, such as, for example, the printing width and length, single or bi-directional printing etc..
Besides the data relating to the design, all the other machine functions can also be controlled:
belt washing, fabric drying, the distance of the printing heads from the fabric, etc..
The function keys have been split into three distinct groups: printer controls, design management, video interface selection.
The printed meters are displayed on three screens at the same time, with relative hourly production split up into linear meters and square meters.

The management and the control of the eight colors loaded on the printer are made easier by a graphic representation that shows the actual situation in real time.
Besides level, other messages include color state. These tell the operator both whether the cartridges are empty and any faults due to errors during color loading.
If, by mistake, a cartridge is fitted different to the previous one, both in terms of type (acid instead of reactive), and color (magenta instead of blue) a message appears showing the error. The color loading operation is not completed until correct operating conditions have been restored.
The function keys and the data relating to printing production are also active during color management display.

The maintenance section permits managing all accessory printing functions, such as head cleaning, performance of tests to check nozzles, forcing of a specific color drop heaviness, etc..
Printing head cleaning can be selected with three levels of intensity - normal, medium or extra.
It is also possible to program head cleaning after a certain number of printing meters.
The nozzle check test can also be made during printing without this causing any interruption in the continuity of fabric printing.
The forcing of the color drop heaviness can be selected on three levels - small, medium, large;
normal or extra printing mode can also be selected.
